Who doesn't want to become a famous person? Everyone knows you, you have fans -people who adore you-, it simply boosts your self-esteem.

But not everything is perfect in the world of celebrities. Along with that dreamy lifestyle come a lot of disadvantages:  people invade your privacy, every action of yours is recorded and analyzed detailed, and one mistake can end your whole career. It doesn't matter how nice you are, people will always find something to hate about you. It's a really judgemental world.

Let's take the Canadian singer, Shawn Mendes, as an example. He's only 21 and already a three Grammys nominee. Money isn't a problem for him, has many famous friends, and even a girlfriend. You could say he has a perfect life.

But, unfortunately, that's not true. His life is far from perfect. He deals with anxiety and panic attacks. Privacy is not a thing for him anymore: everywhere he goes, there are fans and paparazzi following him. He's quite a kind man, but people still try to "cancel" him. Haters are so desperate for attention that they bring up stuff from ten years ago, just to make someone feel inferior.

Wasn't that enough? Let's talk about Taylor Swift. She's one of the most well-known female singers. She has a strong fan base that supports her unconditionally, her house is full of awards and she has the wardrobe any girl would dream to have.

But she went through hell for that. Famous people stole her career, controlling her like a puppet.

In conclusion, yes, it's quite nice to be famous, but before you put yourself in the spotlight, do something that not many celebrities did: think about all the pros and cons.
