There were once 2 kids, Maria and Alex. They lived in a small house, on top of a hill. They used to play a lot in their garden.
One warm day, Alex and Maria were playing baseball. Alex hit the window with the baseball ball bit Maria got in trouble for it.
When she got sent to her room, their mum asked who was the guilty one.
-It was me, he said. I'm sorry for breaking the window.
Alex had to do chores until next Spring to get forgiven. But he still had time to enjoy birds' chirping.
His sister on the other hand, had fun during the time Alex was doing chores. She got in touch with people she got no sign from.
The last day of Alex' punishment finished. Did he enjoy it? No..
But at least he finally got to breathe fresh air again
