Is a big salary more important than job satisfaction?
I don't think a big salary is more important than job satisfaction because if you don't like your job and aren't passionated you have no motivation, plus that you're going to end up at the end of the day not just physically tired, but mentally.
Not going to work with motivation will affect your mental state and you're going to have an unpreofessional behaviorat or be in a bad mood. I do think that doing your work isn't all that matters because, for example, you have to work with clients and if you dislike your job it will annoy you and clients won't be the happiest.
Mental health is as important as physical health because it stimulates you. You may be the kindest and calm person, if you have no job satisfaction you're going to be tired and stressed for not being able to do something that really passionates you. For example, as a psychologist who hates or is full of their client's problems, you'll end up comparing your pacient's problems with yours, and you'll hate that you can't be helped.
Not having a satisfaction in what you do, not to receive validation or thinking of work as a place where you can take a breath of fresh air is going to affect your mental state, doesn't matter how long or how much the salary motivates you.
