Listen again. Name the type of conversationalist who….

• enjoys what he is telling so much that he cannot

leave out the smallest detail.

• after he has been speaking for a short time he

finds he has lost his audience because they are

not so interested in all the details as he is.

• wants to do all the talking.

• will probably continue talking until he is so tired

he can’t speak any more.

• is the one who remembers that silence can be gold.

• wants to attract attention to himself.

• even if he has nothing to offer he still wants to be the

center of the talk.

• interrupts the ‘monopolizer’ or the ‘detailed man’.

• has nothing to say/has no information to offer.

• is not as interested in the conversation as he is in

himself.

• will repeat not only something he has said but

also something someone else has mentioned

• is afraid to say something because he is too shy

Răspuns :

O să-ți dau și în paranteze câte ceva despre fiecare în caz de te întreabă cineva ce înseamnă fiecare.

  • Oversharers(they give out way too much detail and information about whatever they're talking about, either because they enjoy the conversation topic or, purely out of habit)
  • Overtalker(something that's usually triggered by a sense of inadequacy or discomfort that is often so deep-seated and habitual that an individual has little awareness they are overtalking. they tend to off-put people and make them be bored or tired of said convo that they're having)
  • The Non-Stop Talkers(they get carried away with the conversation they’re having and end up steamrolling the other party)
  • Hyperverbal(refers to someone who talks fast, and has increased speech)
  • Reticent(they're inclined to be silent or uncommunicative, valuing silence more than anything)
  • Attention seeker(they tend to love being the only focus of everyone's attention, "talk of the town" seems more fitting to these types of individuals)
  • Narcissist(they may be painfully boring and self-centered, only talking about themselves, but of course, still want all the attention they "deserve")
  • Chronic Interrupter(they want to keep everything moving at a faster clip, so often they will interrupt to make that happen, rightfully so since monopolizers don't really care about the other party)
  • Taciturn (implies that a person does not talk because they are thought to be unfriendly or silent by nature)
  • Selfish(they care only about themselves and don't consider other things or other people)
  • Reiterative(they tend to repeat themselves and others, often in worry of having an awkward silence or misunderstanding in their conversation)
  • Extremely shy individuals (they are typically low in self-esteem and largely preoccupied with what others think of them, scared of making mistakes of upsetting other people).

Succes! :)
