'Take care, Matt!' his mother said as she hugged him and waved him goodbye.

The boy couldn't wait to try his new bike, along with his friends.

He closed the door and ran to them, then start riding the bike. A big, cheerful smile took control over his face when he notices that he was the fastest person in the group.

The weather was so nice, the sun making the bike sparkle when a sunshine hit the handlebars.

All of them were laughing and the feeling of the wind on Matt's face gave him a thrill. After an hour of riding, they stopped to take a break and eat some snacks in the park.

One of them suggests that they could tell stories, until they thought to continue to ride their bikes.

'Everything sounds so interesting.' Matt said to himself, as he smiled and listened his friends telling different events.

He laid down on the grass, looking at the sky. There's no sign of the sun and gray clouds appeared, like an obvious sign that marks the upcoming rain.

Matt stood up and said that it's better for them to head home.

After everyone's approval, they start to bike, when rain starts falling on the ground.

'Careful, the road is gonna be slippery!' Matt's friend said, watching them.

'Don't be silly, it's just rain!' Matt replied, increasing his speed.

And like the universe heard him, his wheel glides on the ground, making him struggle to keep himself steady.

The next thing he saw was the tree witch he hits, falling on the leaves.

A moment of silence comes next, his friends panicking and running to him.

But Matt wasn't crying Instead, he was laughing as he got up, cleaning the leaves off his clothes.

He even started laughing more when he saw his friends' faces, but soon after he apologized and ensures them he's fine.

They finally reached their homes, a little before the rain got worse. It was a really good day.
