Subject: Any suggestions?
Hey Jack
How are things? Listen, I'm writing because a friend of mine is coming to spend a few days in
your town. She asked me to write to you to see if you could suggest some of the things she
should do while she's there. She also wanted to know what the weather's like and what clothes
she should bring with her. She leaves on Friday. Sorry for the short notice, but can you help?
Hope to hear from you soon.
Best,
Angie

Subject: Our life here.

Dear Angie,

Usually the weather is really nice here and you don't need winter clothes. A T-shirt or a tank top should do, and for the bottoms she should bring a skirt or some shorts. Temperatures are between 15 degrees Celcius and 35 degrees Celcius in the Summer. An interesting thing to see is the town center. She can visit the circus there, with interesting wild animals to see such as tigers, elephants and giraffes. I can also take her on a tour. We will go by the river, then eat icecream at my favourite place and then to top things off we will visit the ice skating ring, in the evening when the lights turn on. Can't wait for her to arrive.

Sincerely, Jack
