It snowed for days in the resort on Prahova Valley. Unusually large flakes sifted through the sky laden with thick clouds. The fresh snow covered everything in white. On the ground, the layer of snow became more and more consistent, so these days it was a real winter trip. The crowd coming to the resort from the crowded cities was very happy with the white atmosphere outside.
Most of those present in the resort spent their time on the ski or toboggan runs. This is also my case. During the long day, except for the moments when we ate, we spent them on the slope. I rented a pair of skis and took several hours of skiing with one of the ski instructors, so I was able to ski. I also had many falls, but they were easy and at the same time they were a reason for joy and good cheer. I also participated in a small competition for beginners in skiing. We had to go around some milestones on a predetermined route. I did very well, although it was the first time I set foot on skis. I would have liked to win the grand prize, a brand new set of skis, but there were other participants much better than me. I hope that next year I will do better and be prepared in case I will participate in such a contest.
I loved skiing and I learned on this trip that skiing can be a lot of fun. But nevertheless, the real fun took place on the toboggan run. Hundreds and hundreds of health are slipping nicely, one after the other on the long slope. Young and old, people smiled as they slid down the sleighs that seemed to float on the white layer of snow. Some fell, rolled through the fresh snow, then headed back to the base of the slope. Others more prudent descended in speed like a slope of beans. On the smooth slope covered with manure, they were not only healthy. I saw many people with plastic bags or other plastic improvisations slipping on the snow. They went up and down noisily. Joy was the order of the day, and when evening came and we didn't go to our rooms, bad parents read on our faces.
