The health effects of tobacco use are significant, depending on how tobacco is consumed (smoked, aspirated, or chewed), as well as their amount.
The main effects of tobacco smoking (the main mode of consumption) are increased risk of lung cancer and cardiovascular disease. The World Health Organization estimated in 2002 [1] that in developing countries, 26% of men die and 9% of women die from smoking. Similarly, in the United States, the Centers for Disease Prevention and Control describes the use of tobacco as "the most important preventable risk factor for the health of the inhabitants of developing countries." It should be banned because cigarettes are bad for health of people and they cause a lot of diseases at the age of 80 years old or maybe 70 anyway they should be banned because all that people do with cigarettes is just make money and get other people sick because of the smoke in their lungs and cancer that could brig to the death of that person who smoked the whole life that is one of many reasons why cigarettes should not even exist on this planet only to get people sick.
