ayaan lives in a small vilage in somalia,a country that often suffers from a lack of rainfall.the village is VERY high up on a hill that they have no water supply.three times a day the girls and women carry water from the river on their heads or backs,sometimes in twenty-kilo containers!it takes up sometimes a big part of the day that i had to leave my school when i was eight,ayaan explains.My mother had too some work to do and she needed help.
