Hi @rosstheboss! His name is Dure and he's 12 years old. He is Swedish, but he is also a Sami The Sam
are people that live in Sweden, Norway and Finland. They speak the Sámi language and go to special Sami schools.
He lives with his mum, dad and brother, Hennet. Their family has got lots of reindeer. You can see one of
them in his profile picture! His dad looks after them and his mum stays at home and makes Sami
clothes to sell. Hennet and him go to school.
They get up at 7 o'clock in the morning, get dressed and have breakfast. Then they walk to school together.
Lessons start at 8:30 am and finish at 3:00 pm. They speak Sámi and Swedish in class, but they also learn
English and French! After school, he usually plays football with his friends, then he goes home and does his
homework
In the evening, he eats a hot meal with his family. Sometimes, his mother tells him old Sami stories or they
play Sáhkku, a Sámi board game. He usually watches TV or uses the computer. He likes posting comments or
photos on social media and chatting with his friends online
