Harry Potter was a very special boy. He was a young wizard. His hair was black and his eyes were green. He has a scar on his forehead. He lived with his aunt, his uncle, and his cousin. He wasn't happy living there because they didn't love him.
He got a letter from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizadry. He was a new student there! He bought a new pet, too: an owl. Its name was Hedwig. But his uncle didn't want to have a wizard in the family and took Harry to a lonely island.
Rubeus Hagrid rescued Harry and went to Diagon Alley with Harry. They he bought his new clothes, books, and his wand.
He went to school for the first time by train in Platform 9 ¾. There he met his new friends: Ron Wesley and Hermione Granger. They talked and ate candies and chocolate.
They arrived at school and had a big dinner with all the students and teachers. A special hat ( the Sorting Hat ) selected a house for students. Harry, Ron and Hermione went Gryffindor House. They were very happy!
At school they took Potion classes and defense against the Dark Arts classes. Harry also played a sport: Quidditch. He had a broom, the Nimbus 2000, because he flew and caught a ball, the Snitch.
Draco Malfoy didn't like Harry. He was a member of the Slytherin House and always tried to beat Harry.
