National Wine Day is a holiday many moldovans wait for, as it resembles centuries of culture and history. Even though , for some, it is an ordinary beverage , most people in Moldova feel like the lengthy history of cultivating grapes and manufacturing wine represents their identity.
To begin with , it is not celebrated on a specific date, however, it takes place around the beginning of October . The period of time when this holiday is celebrated couldn't be more appropriate due to the fact that October is a symbol of prosperity and abundant agricultural crops.
Basically, during this day, moldovans celebrate the cultivation of grapes and the exquisite wines that the local manufacturers produce. As previously stated, they celebrate a part of their national culture .
It goes without saying that on this day , people try out various types of wines and appreciate their unique taste. Moreover , locals eat traditional dishes prepared on site while listening to the popular music played on the avenue.
