The passport is a really personal document.
It includes so much information about yourself such as: your personal identification number, your eye color, hair color, surname, name, citizenship, date of birth, your height, city and residence. This is a really important document because without it you can’t go to any country besides the one you live in. You have to keep your passport safe because you don’t want anyone unknown to see your personal information. It is just as precious as your ID. You have to get a new passport every few years, because it expires. Whenever you get into a new country the people at the border put a stamp in your passport that is called “visa”.
If you’re 14 years old and you have already got an ID the passport isn’t really necessary to cross a country, because the passport is only useful to children under 14. If you have a passport and want to cross a country (under 14) you have to be with both of your parents because otherwise you need to have a notarial statement(which is signed by your parents) that allows you to cross the country with only one of your parents or even other people.
In conclusion you have to be really careful with your passport because it is very important.
