The day after
Everything happend in June, or, July I can't remember. I was staying under our big and very old tree reading 'The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn' which was my favourite book. The old tree was actually an cherry tree, and I was having my belly full of red and very sweet cherries.
Out of nowhere, a cherry fell right on my head. I immediately lost my concentration from the book and looked up in the cherry tree. Another cherry fell, this time, on my eye. I closed my eyes and tried to look up but the sun wouldn't let me. So the next thing I know I was doing was climbing the tree to the almost very top. The creature that was disturbing my reading was a very beautiful bird. I grabbed her gently and easy climbing down the tree. As I reached the ground, I started looking intensely at her and noticed that the little creature was having a broken arm. I took care of Lucy, as I named her soon enough, and got her inside the house. I was happy I had another friend.
After a week I decided to get Lucy outside to take some air, but as soon as I opened the door, Lucy flew away. I keeped being sad for a couple of days but I knew it will be temporary.
The day after Lucy's disappearing I heard a knock at my rooms window. And there was she. Lucy. With a red ribbon and a blue one tied together in a cute bow. And then it hit me, she wanted to reward me for taking care of her, and I understood her. So I nodded and she flew to the sky. I never found out what happened to Lucy after but I hope she is fine.
