I strongly agree with the statement "Allow your passion to become your purpose, and it will one day become your profession". I think that doing what you love, even if just as a hobby, is essential.
Firstly, by allowing yourself to take up activities that you like, you create the possibility to build a career later on in life. For example, I know a lot of cases of people who started making jewelery as a side job and who then quit their job and became jewelery designers.
Secondly, we should never lose sight of what we really love and make room for it in our lives, no matter how busy we might be. For exemple, there are elderly people that regret not doing what they dreamed of. On the other hand, people who chose their passion for a creer seemed to be very happy and fulfilled.
