Beauty is relative and passing. Ones definition of "beautiful" can fit someone else's requirements for "ugly". It's always highlighted to respect an opinion but not an unhealthy standard.

People find comfort in various subjects or activities, depending on their artistic knowledge, sense of fashion, love language or taste. Such things vary on different scales ranging from clothing stores, depending on style, to restaurants, based on what type of food people enjoy more than others. That's part of the reason why we find the things we like in specific categories and labels.

Growth comes from analyzing two points of view that contradict or coming to terms that both are unique ways of seeing a subject. The beauty of this disappears when someone pushes their own point of view against the other one, forcing them to change their mind, because they think of their standpoint way highly that it is. From such disputes separation took place, a good example are beauty standards and how many people are bullied for their unique features that were once beautiful to them, until someone said it's wrong and should be fixed to fit their idea of beauty.

Stories have many sides and it's better to hear them all before coming to a conclusion. Nothing is beautiful from all points of view but each are needed just as much.
