The text "Two sister and the cat" begins with the sad news that Mrs. Smith's cat had passed away, and she doesn't have where to bury him. In an attempt to comfort her she told Mrs. Smith that she can bury him/her in her garden in Duncan. After she she left she took Sammy to the bus stop and wrapped him in some newspaper. After she left the bus she realised that she had forgotten him in the bus.
